The Founder
I chose surfing after a decade of travel
Caught by the travel bug after moving to Northern Brazil in my mid twenties, I settled in San Diego with a corporate job by the beach. Determined to keep the travel spirit alive I started surfing.
However, it took me six months, one very cute but very impractical surfboard, tons of struggle, and ultimately moving into a place with a garage (where I could finally store a foam board) before I caught my first wave on my own.
That's when I started Pardi Surf Co. To make a surfboard for people like us, here for the athletics, down for the aesthetics - Pardi is the board, and the lineup, I wish I had on day 1.
